This hui was an action called at our May 28th Quarterly Hapū Hui at Parawhenua Marae.

‘hapū has asked for the wai claimants to come and hui with hapū’

An opportunity to identify and reaffirm our hapū rangatiratanga with the goal to have a collective united direction that has us all working together in the Wai Claims space.

‘the request is from (Nga hapū o Te Ahuahu) hapū to Wai Claimants that we action a wānanga together as a collective of hapū and wai claimants so we walk out that weekend as one, collectively.’
